Green Lane School

Green Lane School is a state licensed, non-profit child care center offering a 10 month program, September through June.  GLS also hosts a summer program, with a flexible schedule.  Three program choices offer a variety of daily schedules, tailored to meet the needs of your family.  Children ages 2 - 5 thrive in an energetic preschool setting located on Green Lane off of Ridge Avenue, in Roxborough, Philadelphia. Well qualified teachers meet all state requirements, and also receive additional training in an appropriate topic of their choice, each school year.  A degreed Group Supervisor leads Assistant Group Supervisors in planning appropriate lessons for each age group.  Teachers are also trained in Fire and Safety Training, as well as CPR and First Aid.

GLS provides a stong foundation for children by teaching friendship skills, peaceful conflict resolution, and strategies for building a positive self-image.  Our child-centered curiculum and developmentally appropriate practices provide abundant opportunities for children to learn.
